This is LawyerUnc. That is the whole ballgame.

Why 1.5(e) is possible here, why a webpage is still not a client, and why we will not pretend to be the bar’s certified referral service.

A certified lawyer referral service is a consumer-protection animal: panel rules, malpractice-insurance floors, complaint procedures, often a bar-sponsored operator. This site is not that.

It is also not a nonlawyer lead mill. The operator is a lawyer admitted in Florida, New York, and New Jersey. That is why a fee division with associated counsel can be done under Rule 1.5(e) / Florida 4-1.5(g), with your written consent to each share, and with joint responsibility or proportional work. It is also why a silent extra percentage, or a cut for a marketing company, would still be a problem.

Browsing is not hiring. The playbook is the point. When you are ready to act, the packet comes here first.
