Privacy

You can read this site without giving us your name. Tools and form drafts run in your browser until you choose to send them.

Cookies

We do not set a tracking cookie, an advertising pixel, or a Google Ads tag. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to opt into.

Your browser still does browser things: a language preference, a TLS session, a font file.

When you send a packet

If you complete the intake and send it, the answers you typed (name, contact, state of injury, dates, and the facts you chose to share) are stored in a private intake log for LawyerUnc and, when the Sheet is connected, as a row in a Google Sheet in our Workspace. A short notice may also go to referrals@lawyerunc.com. We do not publish that table. Do not put another person's medical records or a Social Security number in the form. The site is for adults. Until you and a lawyer sign a written engagement, that packet is not attorney-client privileged.

Who sees it, and for what

Referral routing uses only what you typed. Nothing else is scraped from your devices.

Calls and texts

A separate, optional, unchecked box is the only way we treat a number as cleared for a call or text about that packet. You can submit without checking it. That consent is kept with the packet so we can show it if a carrier or a regulator asks.

How long we keep it

Packets we decline are deleted on a short cycle. Packets we refer are kept as long as the referral and any related professional record require. Write referrals@lawyerunc.com if you want a packet deleted and it is not already in a referred file.
