Terms
Using LawyerUnc is an agreement to these terms. Reading a page is not a consultation. Sending a form is not a hire. Last updated 31 August 2026.
Consents and disclosures
This website is a lawyer's public education site and a way to be referred to counsel. State bars treat a lawyer's website as advertising. We do not claim to be the best, we do not promise a result, and we do not use "specialist" without a board certification. The hiring of a lawyer is an important decision that should not be based solely on a website.
No attorney-client relationship is formed by visiting, searching, or submitting the diagnostic. Nothing on these pages is legal advice about your facts. Email to this site is not privileged until you and a lawyer sign a written engagement.
If you send a packet, you consent to it being stored by LawyerUnc for a referral review. A separate, optional box is the only consent for a call or text. If a fee would be divided with another lawyer, you will be asked in writing to agree to that lawyer and to each share before anyone splits a dollar. Those boxes are required to be checked by you, not by us.
Intellectual property infringement or other claims
The playbook, diagnostic, design, and original writing on this site belong to LawyerUnc. Statutes, court opinions, and MDL docket text are public. Historical verdicts are reported as history, sometimes as labeled composites, and never as a quote for your case. Past results do not guarantee, warrant, or predict future case outcomes.
We do not publish a lawyer directory. Names that once appeared as samples are retired. We do not copy another firm's ads, marks, or formbooks.
You keep whatever rights you have in what you type. By sending a packet you represent that you have the right to send it (your facts, not someone else's medical file). You do not get a license to scrape, republish, or resell this site as a competing directory.
If you believe something here infringes your copyright or trademark, write referrals@lawyerunc.com with the URL, the work you claim, and how to reach you. We will look. We are not a court.
Data privacy
We do not set a tracking cookie or an ads pixel. Intake is emailed to LawyerUnc so we can review it. We do not sell lists. We do not retarget you from a diagnosis. The full notice is on Privacy.
Compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations
The operator is a lawyer. Florida Chapter 4-7, New York Rule 7.1, New Jersey RPC 7.1–7.5, fee-division rules (Florida 4-1.5(g), New York 1.5(g), New Jersey RPC 1.5(e)), and the federal TCPA apply to how this site speaks and how a number may be called. Fill-in drafts are skeletons, not a lawyer applying the law to your facts. This site is for adults in the United States. It is not a certified lawyer-referral service.
You agree not to use the site to submit false claims, to harass, or to collect other people's data.
The diagnostic is mechanical
Start-here questions are factual gates (state, category, dates, yes-or-no screens). They do not decide whether you would win. They do not apply the law to your story. A decline means the current inventory would not take the file, not that you were not hurt.
If something on this site goes wrong
The playbook can be wrong, late, or incomplete. You use it at your own risk. LawyerUnc is not liable for a missed deadline, a bad referral, or the work of a lawyer you later hire. We are not liable for a third-party host, email provider, or court website. This cap is about the website. It is not a cap on a malpractice claim against a lawyer you actually retain, and it is not about your injury case.
Florida law governs these terms. A dispute about this website (not about your injury, and not about a lawyer you hired) belongs in a Florida state court. We do not put your injury claim into arbitration by your using a webpage.
Legal notices
Send legal notices about this website to referrals@lawyerunc.com. Service of process goes to the lawyer who writes this site, at the public address on that lawyer's Florida Bar profile. Do not serve a hosting vendor and expect that to reach us.
